Fees

For a 50-60 minute consultation our fee is $240*. If you have a mental health care plan, a rebate of $98.95 will be available from July 1 2025, leaving an out of pocket cost of $141.05

As RNS Psychology is a private clinic it does not provide bulk billing.

 

You do not need a referral to attend an appointment, however you can discuss with your GP if you are eligible for a mental health care treatment plan referral, which will entitle you to a rebate of a portion of the full fee.

 

You may also contact your private health fund insurance provider to discuss your eligibility for rebate.

You are required to pay the full fee at the time of session by credit card.  As a courtesy, the clinic is able to submit your claim to medicare on your behalf, or provide you with a receipt to do so yourself.

RNS Psychology is also a WorkCover provider.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation fees apply for cancelled sessions with less than 24 hours notice (50% of the full session fee) and the full fee applies for missed appointments without any notice.

*The Australian Psychological Society recommends a fee of $318 for a standard 50-60 minute consultation with a Psychologist. (2025-6).
